this is what I got so far. Still working on it and my next item on my to get list is a sump/fuge to go inside the cabinet. My tank is not drilled and I got less than 23"x23" inside to play with. Sugestion?

Why different backdrop? I know most hobbist go with either black paint or blue background but I like that one, reason being that it makes my tank look deeper from the front (IMO) and sooner or later I'll have more rocks that will go there.

I was looking a the HOB fuge but my problem is that when you walk in you can see all the stuff behing the tank as it sits right now. I'm want it to look cleaner.

I kind of rush a lil with my set up to get started. Granted that I got a good deal on all I got and the tank is doing good as of right now(knock on wood) and all I wanted was a FOWLR but I'm ADDICTED to this now(I knew that would happend) and now I want a reef tank.

cubes just look small, compared to their rectangle counter parts. Gotta remember that it is as deep as it is long.

i guess so! amazing how much water can go into a little cube! and that backdrop looks like a freshwater one, its just my opinion so don't worry, its how you like it not us.
