Hi everyone I just bought a used acrylic 60 Gallon Truvu tank(48 X15X18)

Do you guys think 2 kessil lights will be good enough for a reef tank? I currently running 1 Ocean Blue Kessil Light on my 29 gallon tank and it works out pretty good.

I just picked up another Kessil Sky Blue today and will take some pics for you guys to see the differences between the two. The reason i Bought the sky blue is because I think the ocean blue is too blue for my taste. However i have it set up in my bedroom which has less bright lighting than my living room. I will see if ocean blue will look different in the living room since my 60 gallon is going to be there. I will take some pics of both lighting of the same tank for you guys to see.

Anyway here is the problem. I would love to use kessil lights for my tank but since i have a avrylic tank, the goose neck wont work on it. So I just want to see some ideas of how would u guys install these kessil lights if you have them.

So far i have 2 ideas:

    1. Get like a L shape thingy from home depot and then install on the wall then hang the lights with metal wires.

    2. Get a Piece of wood and drill 2 holes on it so the Kessil can fit through it and mount the wood to the wall like a shelf?

Anyway any suggestion are welcome. Thanks.

If you have room you should just hang them i thought about hanging mine but the guy threw the goosenecks in so i just used them but 2 is plenty ive got a 57tank and its pretty intense over mine with 2the check out the 3rdpump page of the bad stand choice thread and you can see the coverage i get with mine over a 36" tank
