600 dollar car

Ya... But the xl1 is almost the same size as a miata and get performace comparable to the insight. That makes it a realistic option for the average consumer. I would be interested in the L1 as well since to me the hybrid is more hassle than its worth and drives costs WAY up. If the would produce the xl1 with just a diesel i would already be in line. I am a city dweller with no kids, this is my ideal car.

 

looks pretty cool and the cost is just wow! haha, this car costs less than some of the reef lighting around here.

I'd be excited if it were gas or if the US had the same standard for diesel that the EU does. Diesel smells, and I can always tell when I'm behind a diesel car because of it when I keep the windows open. I also wouldn't wanna be hit while driving one, even by a Civic.
