Okay, out of my stocking list what would you add first. 1 melanurus, 2 oc. clowns, 1 mandarin, 1 royal gramma, 1 kole tang, or 1 yasha goby.

 

wait alkalinity 250...? anyway My tank just finished cycling and I just got brown algae; would've expected it throughout the week though. Hopefully your cycle ends soon; stocking your tank is the fun part IMO

 

lol mandarin first? is that serious? but anyway yasha gobies are pretty hard to find; my fish stores never seem to have one. I'm thinking 2 ocellaris clowns, or maybe 1 and then get the other one just so that you're not adding too much ammonia unless u buy a pair

 

No, definetly not the mandarin first, I was just making a list. Where I live, we have a lot of good LFS and I can find all of those fish easily, sometimes all at one store. I was also thinking of going with the clowns first, they have a lot of personality which I like.

 

o wait im thinking alkalinity being good in terms of 9-12

 

Ya I measured in ppm instead of dkh, I misread it though. Its actually 180 ppm which is 10dkh so im good

 

Big update: my tank is cycled!!! ;D I will order a CUC from John tonight!

I triple checked already, I have zero ammonia, nitrite and 10 nitrate
