forgot to mention i blended one of each shrimp,clam, oyster, crab, scallop and added it to the water six months ago, its just been sitting with only a recirc pump to get a jump start on the bio.

 

its getting there

thanks ive only been trying to do this for like 5 years, go big or go home, or make it part of the home. lol. everything on this tank will be doubled, the skimmers, chillers, main pump, lights. ill post more pics soon.

Looks good, I would do something similar if I knew I was going to live in my house for a long time.

 

the tank will run two halides with no actinics. a 400w 20k and a 250w 10k. the 10k will only be on for 3 hrs midday. i had 3 large lumen brights, took them apart and added another segment to each one and had to offset both halide housings with spacers. put a fan on top with a gap inside to pull hot air.

 

also running 2 hurricane cat2 with hy5000 basically there sro5000int but cheaper
