I've been seeing A LOT of these popping up on craigslist as well as local (michigan) reef boards. Is there some odd thing that makes people want to get rid of them? Example - 65 aquarium and stand and hood and other gear - $175.

It seems to be pretty darn cheap. There is another listing with 2x175 Halides for $200 including stand/tank/hood/etc. Is there some mystical reason why these go for so cheap? Is it the odd size? (Corner). Just curious - it seems like they would be great for the depth/width...

(Mods if this is the wrong section, my apologies!)

Some people get into hobbies and later decide they really arent as interested in it or it is to much work. This is a hobby that you really have to enjoy because it can take up some time and be alot of work. I have personnelly never heard anything bad about them but others may have. It could be as simple as trying to recoup some of their cash.

That's a steal IMO. I would love to have a corner tank because the tank I have now is currently residing in a corner...and it's not a corner tank!! It looks odd...I would love to upgrade to a corner tank!!

There is very little room to work with under the tank. I am now in the process of setting one up. FW and I am trying to figure out how to get the water from tank to wet dry and back.
