yes flyn, unfortunately it caught in some rocks and I guess couldn't breathe or move - I found him too late. They are such a beautiful fish, I wish they weren't so difficult to keep

Sorry to hear about your loss. That really stinks. Any new updates or additions?

it's been a while since I updated. In terms of new livestock, I did add two dragon-faced pipefish about 3 months ago and luckily they are still going strong. I really enjoy them although my tank gets fed a ton so I'm struggling with nutrients/algae growth :( I also added a couple of sexy shrimp and an anemone shrimp - they all three have taken up residence in my xenia. I also added a hector's goby that is in my overflow (I'm going to work on that tonight) - another thread :) I haven't added much in terms of coral - some zoas, a new toadstool, and some palys. I'm waiting for my LFS to get in a harlequin shrimp - I have a ton of asterinas that I'd like to get rid of - there are way too many to remove without some help. I guess I'm ok with having to feed starfish once the asterinas are gone - although I'm still a bit squeamish about that.....I do have a cool pic of my pipefish although my pics stink compared to most

That's awesome! I'm gonna start a seahorse and pipe fish tank in the next month or so. Is it hard to feed that little guy? He would look good in my reef

I have a lot of pods I believe...at least I've added them a couple of times - tisbe pods - they are very tiny so it's hard to tell their numbers...I also feed a cube of Cyclops and roe daily.....I also feed baby Mysis which all seem to enjoy. My fish are very chubby.....now, I think it is apparent why I can't keep sps :)

dsc, I have a pair.....I read where they seem to do well in pairs....they do somewhat pair up periodically but mostly swim about separately. I have no idea what gender they are.
