well, my friend who is building my stand and sump is a little behind but needed a measurement on Saturday. As I was looking at the tank in the box, and didn't notice it before but the whole top is cracked! I hadn't taken it out of the box yet because I didn't need to until the stand is done. Sooo.....I called amazon and they took care of it. Supposedly, I am getting a new tank shipped on two day shipping. UPS is supposed to contact me about the return.

I told Amazon that nowhere on the box is it listed that the contents is fragile or glass and that may be why it was cracked. Hopefully, the new tank will be ok.

So, the new tank is on hold until at least next weekend.

Amazon is AMAZING with customer service type issues. I'm sure they will make you whole.

They really were. I thought I'd have an issue in that I've had the tank now for 3 weeks without opening it. They didn't bring that up once but seemed more concerned that my tank had arrived cracked. We'll see when the new tank comes (fingers crossed). I mentioned the no markings on the box indicating it was glass so I hope it's not going to be an on-going problem.......new tank - cracked, send another/cracked, etc.

They don't mark it fragile or glass because that just seems to irratate the shipper.Sad but true.Sorry about the problem but glad Amazon is helping.;)

It sucks to be ready to fill the tank but the tank isn't ready to be filled:p Your an excellent example for patience Mrs. OFK ;) My 125 is sitting in my living room empty and I want to kick and scream everytime I walk by. Lol
