i dont know just yet which coral but i was thinking for the top some type of red long tentacle anemone (or coral if there is one ) for a lava effect lol idk still thinking ....

ok so i got my maxijet mod it is awesome ...its been 3 months all is well i was thinking about getting some fish. i want a yellow tang badly could i start add fish?

I had a trio of modded maxi 1200's in a 150 and I can tell you they are nasty powerful. I think the sure flow kit is rated at 1600+ghp on a MJ1200. It moved enough water that without a shield it would cause a cyclone and suck in at at 6" under the surface.

 

lmao i was mad when i found out about the sure flow mod because i first went to pets*art and got 2 hydro 1's for 39.99 a piece, that was the biggest waste of money i mean why buy it for 39.99 for 400gph when $39 will get u 1600gph.....but anywho the maxi jet 900 with mod is 1600 and the mj1200 is rated at 2200

 

by the way is it possible to have too much flow ?
