what happens when the water is at 68degree F for reef tank? I went out of town for 3 days, and heater was unplugged, when i came back it was at 68 degree, but nothing died, and everything looks healthy. But this kept going on for longer, would it of killed my whole tank?

I dont think it could of killed your tank, but maybe a few corals..Just raise that temp slowly and you should be fine.

Yeah...I went out of town for 2 weeks. During my vacation, my brand new 500W heater broke. Then my house heat (circulation pump) died. I got home to the inside of my house at 43 degrees and my tank at 64.3. Nothing was dead...a little slower than usual, but alive none the less. I got my temp back up to 74.5 within 2 days, and once I got my house heat fixed, 78.6 by the third day.

I believe that Matt's one montipora was left out in the bed of a truck in the wind while driving down the highway for a few hours... and it still lived lol
