    water is full (and cloudy!)
pump is on, two power heads are in
    Temperature is stable
    Salinity is perfect
and I'm getting anxious to move everything from the 30G over to the new tank

Good advice. Best to let the 75 cycle before you transfer from the 30.

dude, awesome thread!!! Now let me ask you a question, your chevelle is a 6 speed I take from you username??? Is that by chance a T56??? And if so, is it by chance behind one of the numerous LSx platforms???

ok....My chevelle WAS a T56 behind a pretty healthy 454, full Hotchkis suspension, and custom made Billet specialties wheels (17x9.5 font 17x11 rear) custome dash and interior...yada yada yada

then it was stolen and stripped.....they got EVERYTHING. if it could unbolt, they took it.....drive train, body panels, interior, dash, I MEAN EVERYTHING! in only 24hrs.. (real pros) the worst part is the took the cowl tag...basically took the car's Identity...

so now I'm putting back together....currently a anemic small block and a 5speed T5 (sorry, I know I should change my SN) and C5 Vette wheels

ah, ****ty deal man! ive got an 01 WS6 heads/cam car and absolutelly love the LS1. If I was to build an old school ride, which mind you i LOVE, I would put an LSx based motor in it, with a T56 behind it :) Good luck on the rebuild brotha!

Sorry to hear that man, thats one of the reasons when I leave I open the garage door so my american bulldogs can patrol the entire house. My dad had his 69 R/T Charger being redone by someone and someone had broken into the guys shop and stole +20k worth of things off the car. He got his car back a shell. I have another forum for Cougars and his 68 was also stolen by a body man. At least with this hobby its cheaper and less stressful.

Got some live rock in the tank
Got some Crabs and snails in the tank (to help build ammonia)
Got two clowns in the tank (temporarily, until the ammonia gets too high)
    Cycle has begun!!! :)

    Started building the Hood tonight...
went with a 60/40 split, so I can flip up the front 40% to get all the way into the tank when needed....

great start on the hood. I might say a bit overkill I might have used 3/4in ply but I am sure it will all work out good. It does look good though.
