    yeah, I am a firm believer in the "why just do it, when you can overdo it!" thoery..... :cheesy:

    wanted to make sure the back is plenty heavy so I can flip up the front without having to worry about sliding around.

    Put the "skin" on the hood today, Next is trim and paint
    also scored four blue LED moon lights off craigslist for $15
    what does everyone suggest to use for hinges? I figured a piano hinge, but when I looked at it today I realized how dam big those things are.....

    just use a couple door hinges

    edit: or just some "heavy duty" hinges from the store that are rated for more weight

    the color is a latex, and I have a poly topcoat....

    why? got any suggestions for a better topcoat?

    picked this guy up today, got to see it in action at the LFS, was making a sick amount of skimmate in a 80g coral tank with out fish in it

    Breaking it in now
