I was just wandering if anyone was familiar with the 37g Eclipse Aquarium. I had purchased one several years ago for my first set up which was an agressive tank which worked out great, but now I have restarted it a few weeks ago and finally finished cycling the tank. The Live Fish Store Near us aren't very fimiliar with the tank since it was a much older model but still was able to send me in somewhat of the right direction towards upgrading it into a Reef Tank for Corals. I did purchase a Blow for some Flow that the guy at the fish store said would be needed for some Gorgonias.Does Anyone by chance know of what would be needed to have a "Higher quality" with needed upgraded lighting, possibly skimmers?, or anything else that I might need for the journey into the Reef Tank.

The lights currently are 18 watt with two bulbs one is a 10,000 T8(i think) and the other is a 420 for the fluorescent look for brighter colors. The Fish store said that I would need something called a Retro Fit kit, but have not been able to find one. The Bulbs are 24 inches long.

I dont know the current dimensions offhand of the tank or the top but I will be able to post them when I take them very soon.

    Any suggestions for upgrades?

I don't currently know how to post pics up on the website, but I do plan on keeping corals and fish.

Currently as I may have stated it is a 37 gallon Eclipse Aquarium. Has the Cartrige filtering from the hood, Bioweel, Heater currently, 18w lighting(Came stock). The lighting I am currently in the process of upgrading to 24 inch 1x65 Watt Current USA PowerCompact SunPaq Retrofit Kit

    Nitrate:0
    Nitrite:30

Have 50 Lbs of Live Rock,Green Yellow Watchman,Regal Tang,4 Yellowtail Damsels, Coral Banded Shrimp, Fire Shrimp, 3 Emerald Crabs, Strawberry Crab
Corals:Candy Coral, Yellow Zoos, Green top Zoos, Multi Zoos, and Green Star Polyps, and a 7 lbs rock with lots of Green star Polyps recently purchased that hasn't opened yet.

if its the 37gal. tank im thinking of ,its fairly deep, you might want to consider stronger lighting to avoid the need to upgrade again should you want to add corals that need more.you have alot of options in the 24 inch size, but you might have to lose the hood.
