Close call, I forgot to plug my heater back in when I did my WC this past Sunday and my tank's temp has most likely dropped to the 70 degree mark, maybe below. It normally is between 76-79.

I'm wondering if I could have caused any damage to anything, I just checked and it was at 71 before I realized my error.

Dang, I knew things seemed a little "off" in the tank yesterday but have been really busy with a new baby, so neglected to really check.

ok, will do, but how can I slowly do it if the heater can't really be filtered for it's output?

Turn the heater temp down to a degree or two over where the tank is now, and slowly increase the heater by one to two degrees until you get it where you want it. and go slow

oh duh that makes sense, thanks guys & KC :). Wish me luck, it's such a kicker you can put soooo much time, care, & $ into something and then forget one little thing and it's all ka-put, it's def a lesson learned either way.
