Your prob thinking no! But this tank will hold little water, as I am turning it into a terrarium/vivarium. So will the 72 be ok on the 55g stand with overhang? I have the tank reversed to make a backwards 72g bow. Could I modify the stand to hold the tank?

    Thanks!

you could make a plywood cutout shape of the 72 to support all the ends but I personally wouldn't do it.

if by little water you mean 5 inches it will probably be ok. if by little water you mean 5 inches below the rim then no.

I wouldn't use it as is, no matter how little water is in it... but if your comfortable with your DIY skills I would say it could easily be modified to hold a bowfront tank... just my opinion though

... I also like the idea of turning it around, and having the front look like a standard but still get the extra room of the bow..
