75 gal. stocking & equipment questions

Ok so here are the fish and equipment I'd wish to get.

Fish:

Orange Spotted Goby (with pistol shrimp)

Four-Line Wrasse

Flame Angelfish

Pair of True Percula Clownfish

Christmas Wrasse

Purple Queen or Male Maldives Anthias (I know queen can be resistant to feed but I know some tricks)

Yellow Eye Kole Tang

Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish

I'm not a huge fan of that thermometer. I have seen them up to 3 degrees off. I would go with this one Aquarium Thermometers: Pinpoint Wireless Thermometer

To save some money, you could always DIY a sump

Also, is there a reason why you are getting a HOB overflow instead of drilling? Just curious.

 

well since I prefer these than drilled I wanted a overflow instead.

 

Oh, got it. Thanks It's just that some people don't like them, and some people love them. I personally like mine.

 

Oh and could I when/if I upgrade add a another anthias?

 

Couple of things. First, I would look more into lighting if I were you. I am sure you already know, but those lights won't support most, if any, corals. You could probably spend just a little more and get some nice lights that would support coral. Second, while that sump should work, I really like my Eshopps refugium sump (Eshopps 2nd Generation Refugium: Refugiums and Aquariums Filters). Bigger chambers, so it may make it easier to run a skimmer, refugium and other equipment.

Thanks Marshall, what lights do you recommend? Also I know but... I'm going to make it a 100 gal. now since the cost isn't that much more.

 

I would definitely recommend 2 reefbreeders units.
