Hey guys, I am trying to come up with a list for stocking my first 75 gallon FOWLR. It is in the cycling phase but I want to plan out my list to avoid casualties. I really love triggerfish. I was wondering if I could possibly keep the Picasso and Niger together. The list follows:

    1-Yellow Tang
    1-Racoon Butterfly
1- Heno Butterfly (looks like Morish Idol)
1- Blue Spotted Toby Puffer (only grows to 5 in. so its safe in 75 gallon)
1-Flame Angel (was wondering if I could put it in with a bicolor or coral beauty if introduced at same time)
    1-Niger w/ (maybe Picasso)

I want to quarantine my new arrivals aswell but was wondering if I could quarantine fishes of the same kind together like two dwarf angels or triggers. Or else how would I be able to introduce them at the same time in the main tank.

All my filter equipment is rated for 150 gallon aquarium including skimmer. (Sump with skimme) I also have alot of live rock with plenty of swimming space.

No way your going to keep 2 triggers together. Also I would advise not to keep the 2 angels together, but others HAVE had success. Its a risk though.

I think you might get away with the angels if you add them at the same time, but if you put in two triggers, soon you'll probably have one.

FTR, I had a flame, bicolor, and coral beauty together in a 55g and they paid no mind to each other. I believe the more space they have, the more likely they are to get along. As for the triggers, I wouldn't recommend more than one in anything less than 200g.

Yellow Tang - You're pushing it...tangs need alot of swimming space
Racoon Butterfly - Very finicky eaters & EASY to stress
Heno Butterfly - Might be able to pull it off
Blue Spotted Toby Puffer - Go for it
Angels - Placed in tank @ same time 75% chance of success
Triggers - TICKING TIME BOMB...just pick one dude

    P.S.

    Nigers get REALLY BIG [20''+]
