    Make sure you get your lighting and skimmer and run them before following through with the anemone
    you should be able to get your nitrates down in no time.

    Also I think you should go with 2 of those reef breeders fixtures because I think you will get more cover across the tank with them

    Yea I was going to make sure to get all the advanced parameters in check before adding any inverts and corals as well. Yea i have been doing small water changes and Im sure the plants are helping as well plus the removal of my bio wheel. I was planning on getting 2 of the 24" fixtures so that I am cable of hosting most corals.

    Do the 24" LEDS have to be hung. Because I have a tank lid and a hood. Could I hang them in the hood or something? Or could they lay on the glass?

    The only problem with hanging them is I really like the hood of the tank but if it comes down to it I will have an open top tank.

    Could I lower my water level to give it at least 6 inches?

    My canopy is about 24 inches tall.....If you are half way handy, build a new one.
