75 gallon reef tank. (in the making)

Ordering the Reefbreeder LED lights tonight. Also ordering a SCA-303 protein skimmer. And finally a BRS Ro/Di unit.

 

New plan
37 gallon refugium with grape caulerpa, chaeto, ulva, and two mangrove plants.
This is going to be next to my DT tank.
Then below the DT there will be be two ten gallon sumps. In one of them them will be my protein skimmer and the other with have a UV light and the return. This will also give room to add more things in the future.
I will post photos as I do all of the plumbing. Hopefully my return pump that I have now will be able to do the job.

Thank you, I want to do everything right. Will be getting all the tanks running by the end of next week most likely.

 

If I put my emperor 400 in my second 10 gallon sump and have carbon in one of the holders and gfo in the other do you think that will work? I plan on getting reactors eventually but just for now?

 

Got a UV sterilizer

 

I don't know if that will work with the gfo because it has to tumble but it would work swell with the carbon. Put carbon in both of them.

 

Ok thanks. I am just going to use it with carbon for now and then in a couple months I will get a BRS dual reactor.
