well thats what I needed to hear I have to run ro water anyway so might as well plan on doing it at some point tomorrow

worst case I have a reactor online so I can add carbon if the ammonis gets crazy

do I need to acclimate the corals to the t5 lights?

It might be a good idea to acclimate the corals. Carbon won't help with the ammonia if I remember right that is what the Prime and water changes are for.

well everyone is in and seems to be doing well lights are off and will wait till tomorow to put them back into use.

went to the LFS and got some cheto and a pepermint shrimp (cheto for the fuge and a small shrimp for the aiptaisa) as well as 7 more blue legs to help with the algea on the rock.

    wish me luck ;D

alright the montie cap and the bit of sps has really started to bleach, the stick fell in the sand and just has not recovered, the montie cap however started bleaching with no real reason.

here are my levels before the lights came on, this is with running a fuge light
    cal-520
    ph-7.8
    kh-7
    rate-0
    rite-0
amm-0/.25 I cant really tell with these test kits but i am using prime just to be safe 10ml everyother day
    salinity-1.025

the softies are doing well its just these two sps frags that arnt doing that well the other encrusting montie is fine with no bleaching.

    any thoughts here?

    New toys!!!!

Well after some trading and haggling I got ahold to a COOL NEW TOY!!!!!!

I love these Powerheads GREAT flow and it spreads well over my tank ;D
they are very well made and are just what my tank needed. my only gripe is that they are a little loud not terriable but noticable.

The Controler leaves some room for improvment but the auto setting works great for me 8)

everything seems way happier and they both flux from 1100 GPH to 550 in 45 Sec increments.
