Looks striking!
What color is the background on that tank? I like the natural neutral look.

 

Is the standing wave just from two vortechs? Are those MP10s? Is the video accelerated?

The background started out clear and is now solid coralline! It really messes with the color in the tank though. I started out with 2-Giessman blue +, 3-Giessman Aquablues and 1-Giessman Pure actinic for some purple, but the coralline throws the entire color scheme off!

Replacing the purple bulb with a blue is on my to-do list...

I'm running one MP10 and one MP40 on the tank. I have them running in tidal swell mode right now. In the future I'll try to get a video of them pushing waves online.


Thanks for all the compliments everyone. This tank took a lot to pull off. I only "work" at the shop a couple times a week, so I tend to stop in and work on this tank on days off a lot.

 

It came in as a Firefly chalice. Your guess is as good as mine whether that's correct or not...

It is clearer to some degree, but with a price tag of $2500 for the tank and stand alone, I don't know that it's that much clearer! We definitely don't stock this tank, and as soon as we tell someone the price, they lose interest very quickly.
