I don't think there is anything wrong with bubbles in the system as long as you have good flow. Collection of microbubbles on corals can cause some damage (so I hear----what damage, don't have a clue, just what I have read). I have read here recently that bubbles caught in gills of fish can raise some issues and also may contribute to popeye.

Now, what is the overall effect on the system in real life? Next to nothing IMO. I have bubbles in my tank....not a terrible amount, but the PHs generate their fair share. I have had no major problems with lack of health secondary to it.

do you run a protein skimmer?
no need for an airstone if you do you get plenty of oxygen

on the rocks I'm not sure but I don't think its good
I have heard of this before but I can't remember.

well you don't need a skimmer while you're CYCLING. Once livestock is put in you definitely need one. Especially on a 75g
