    i had a 55g sw tank it last 4 months before all hell broke lose. the lighting unit itself died and a stand failure. so i decided to try it out again. but I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to post this if not I'm sorry.

    In January i purchased two TaoTronics TT-AL09 (LED)
    then early February i purchased a 75 gallon tank from pet smart and a metal stand from a lfs
    waited for a break from school and work and here we go;

    2.27.13.jpg
    in this picture placing the and added 10-15 gallons of water

    in this picture i added one of my led lights trying to figure out the depth i need

    in this picture i bought a pole and hung between two brackets the lights would twist so i had to find a new solution. which was to buy a small chain and hang each side over the bar

    3.03.13.jpg i added Koralia Evolution Aquarium Pump(750g) 1 300 watt heater and you can see the itemp(digital aquatics reefkeeper) i just got my sump but was waiting on BRS to send some stuff started adding salt.started to add my rock which i bought at lfs/brs ( i ordered another 50 pounds i don't like the difference in the rocks) fixed the lighting added more water

    taken this morning i have cpr 100 over flow into a Aqueon 34502 ProFlex Sump Model 3 with a Reef Octopus NWB110 4” Pinwheel in Sump Protein Skimmer which may need to be upgraded in the future. that has a carbon reactor, itemp, 2 300 watt heaters. and a Eheim 1260 Universal Pump as a return.

    so after all that should i add a anotherKoralia Evolution Aquarium Pump? was thinking of getting a HOB refegium.

    as for fish i would like a false Ocellaris Clownfish; i have a baby coming in August and i find out if i got accepted in RN school soon so that has a small monkey wrench on what i want to do vs free time to do it. but a reef tank would be great.
