    I really want my lights to crank :)

    I will keep softies towards the bottom of the reef (and, I really want a T. Maxima clam - something I've just not heard success stories from most of the folks I talk to with T5, and don't want to be disappointed if I spend lots of cash on T5's and it doesn't do well), and want to do SPS towards the midde / top.

    It's been an interesting decision to make ... and if I add up the cost of 2 MH bulbs more frequently, vs. 8 T5 less frequently, cost seems to be around the same for me.

    I want the tank to have a whitish blue (more blue than white) hue. I'm figuring 15K should do the trick.

    Think the Odyssea unit will be a good choice, provided I replace the ballasts with IceCap's sooner rather than later?
