Yeah the fused jaw article on breeding is pretty good. Maybe a bit outdated, IDK.
The tank will never grow in because I won't let it. The caulerpa is kept in check. I don't care what I'm doing, going to work, eating, walking by...I see a runner that doesn't belong it gets clipped and removed.
I had 2 new penicillus sprout this week. Also maybe you could tell me why the Udotea always sprout pairs about 4" from the algae that spawned it. I have a new pair of those as well.

Also the Ochtodes is going bonkers atm. Do you need some for any of your tanks? And dictoya as well. I didn't even purchase that, it just popped out out of spores in the sand I got from Russ over at GCE. His systems sand is very bad ass for interesting hitchhikers. The same could be said for the appearance of the sargassum, acetabularia and the ulva.

Some bad things come to. I've removed a 3" eunicid, a predatory snail, and currently dealing with some oxynoidae.

Oh and I forgot add that I really don't want to breed these animals. I just enjoy the dance at lights on so mating is an inevitability.
The years raising zostrae got me addicted to that ritual. One of the most romantical, intimate displays in nature IMO.

Penicillus sprouts. The one is a couple days old, the two others popped up overnight.

I noticed that my male pony is beginning to grow out some cirri. He's also changed color to a very pale-ish orange. He's going to look so noble with a full a set of spindly appendages.

Pics when I get home this evening.

I finally got around to taking some pics of my male and his cirri.
The effort is most likely moot though. The economy finally managed to swallow up my wife and I. We lost our home and will be moving in the next 30 days.
The oxynoidae are a problem that I could not control and all of the caulerpa in my system has been consumed by them. They are like M.E.N in a SPS tank.
I ruined my last cover for the mp10 and new I should have taken it out but with the house my mind was elsewhere. Long story short, the 3rd day with no cover I found my little girl sucked into the pump. Made myself sick.
