I am in need of a new pump for 75g as my old one is wearing out. when i took it apart today i noticed wear on insiede where shaft of impeller sits. Can you recommend me something as to GPH 'cause sticker on old one is gone so not really sure what it was and how big it was.

    Thanks

What's the overflow(s) rated at? Is the pump just returning or are you driving other things with it?

i use a blueline hd 40-x on my 75, pump sits about 4' below tank and return line has 2 ninety bends in it. flow seems to run at around 800 gph, and it's been quiet and reliable (running for 14 months now).

maybe as big as system can handle 1 in return may not handle a 1000 gph pump. just check and then do what system can handle.
