Tomato clown and cleaner shrimp. I kept a small peppermint in the tank with the mystery wrasse for 9 days before adding this cleaner.

Unlikely BFF's. Mystery Wrasse and Canary Blenny sleep together, eat together, play together

Oh yes I should mention that the Strawberry psuedochromis was an impulse buy. I added him on a Friday and the Canary the next day. The Canary was a planned edition but came in late Friday after I had been to the store already.
Long story short...Canary's don't like psuedo's or vice versa. Canary's are venomous which is something the little strawberry found out quickly. :( RIP lil' strawberry psuedo.

I picked up a Long Tentacle Anemone today. Was just window shopping the LFS and came across it. I planned on getting a RBTA from a local who has one split pretty regularly but something about this guy caught my eye.
After acclimation I shut all of the pumps off and placed it where I wanted it to be. It must have liked the spot too because it immediately began burying it's foot. 5 hours later I could see the foot firmly attached to the bottom glass when I looked under the tank from inside the stand.
It's our anniversary today so the wife picked up a pair of small OC's as part of her gift to me.

I added a trio of Psuedoanthias tuka from ibluewater.com today and couldn't be happier. They are currently hiding in the rock work. Pics to come when they decide to make an appearance....

Thanks John. I felt really bad because they started fighting immediately and I saw the bite to the mouth that killed him. I didn't even have time to grab a net and try to get the little guy out. He got bit, swam up by the overflow and about an hour later was dead on the bottom.

The little tomato clown didn't make it either but that was one of those unexplained deaths. Fine in the morning, crab buffet that evening.

Wow, you've had an adventure the past couple of days. The LTA looks great with the clowns. Sorry to hear about the anthias and also the tomato clown. Congrats on the two that survived though. Do you have a picture of them?
