I just set up a 75 gallon and was wondering what I should use for circulation. I have 2 older Hydor Koralia 1 that do 400 gph also have a new maxijet 600 and 400 set up as circulation pump. Should I use all 4 or 2 not really sure. Thanks

All pumps have an associated heat gain so be careful adding too many. I prefer the newer Koralia Evolutions as they are a much more efficient pump drawing less than half the wattage of the previous K series and putting out much more flow. They are also controllable which is great for random currents, you can get the random flows of multiple powerheads with just two on a timer or controller.

Thats not an entirely accurate statement. They may not have as much but the motor is still attached to the outside glass and glass does transmit heat and cold.
