This will be my first jump into the SW world as a long time FW keeper. The tank isn't setup yet but I would like to start looking at some stocking ideas. I'd like to make a semi aggressive reef(mainly soft corals).

So far the only definites are:

2 Clarki Clownfish(could just do 1 but I hear they do better as a pair)
1 Antennata Dwarf Lionfish(The wife's favorite fish so trying to work around it)

    Ideas:
    A smaller tang
A dwarf angel(will these pick at corals)
A Snowflake Eel(Worried about these guys eating crabs/snails)
Some of the Larger Chromis(thinking a group of 3)
    Maybe something for the bottum?

Open to any ideas really just trying to keep the fish around 5" or larger to avoid being food for the lion. Also would like to be able to keep a CUC of snails and crabs.

Very difficult with the Lionfish in there. Most Cromis and Clowns grow to 5" max or less same with Dwarf Angels. The Angels may or may not go after your corals.

If you start with a small Lion you might be able to get fish that will be safe while it is growing up. A Yellow, Purple, Regal or any or the bristletooth Tangs should be safe if bought closer to the 5" size at the start.

Well i think it would be much easier if you just said if you want it to be a reef or a fish only tank. If its reef then we can eliminate the eel probably others right now...

Ya I know the lion makes it tough but like I said fav fish. I am thinking of making the lion the last fish added(as well as small) and letting the others grow up some.

You might be able to get away with a Bristletooth but I wouldn't put any other kind of Tang in A 75.
    Definitely wouldn't do an Eel.
