Any thoughts on livestock?

 

lol that's the thought I'm starting small to see how zoas do. I also need to get my CREE bulb wired up and adjusted. Also, due to the size of this tank I know going smaller/slower will pay off more in the long run.

 

Absolutely... Why the clown though?? There are some seriously great Nano fish out there...

Although I know how everybody loves clowns lol

 

I like watching clowns, especially the Stubby Ocellaris. What other cool nano fish are out there? Maybe there is something I haven't seen before...

It will sound funny, but there are remarkable (easy to attain) nano fish that VERY few people ever think of

first livestock

Just picked up the first for the tank! Few pics included (some blurry bc I only have my Iphone at the moment.

3 Nassarius Snails
1 Turbo
1 Black Ocellaris Clown
1 GSP Frag
1 Eagle Eye Frag

Drip acclimating the clown, kept hiding in the PVC and popping in and out. Ate while acclimating (which was good) and also ate immediately after placing in the tank. Some of the polyps started to open a few min. after I placed them. I don't know where I want the put them yet. The GSP isn't opening (maybe needs higher flow/stronger light?). The plan is to attach the GSP to the back wall eventually.
