yeah it's a suprise in my fuge thread. LOL
Sorry for asking what you're feeding. I see you are feeding baby brine ;D
I have a couple of the Artemia dishes and man are they awesome! No light no air pump. Shrimp swim to the center ring on thier own so there's no messing with seperating egg cases.

One of my males has a huge tummy! Should be any day now.

The Artemia Hatchery dish is a german concept and would be very easy to replicate. You can find them on www.brineshrimpdirect.com That's were I got mine but I wish I had only bought I instead of two lol.
It's a dish with a set of fixed rings inside and one center divider ring that is white plastic. The lid and body are black plastic. The lid has about a 50 cent piece opening that lets light in and the white ring gathers that light. You fill it to the fill line with salt water, put your cysts in the outer rings and cap it. 24 hours later the center ring is full of newly hatched brine w/o the loose capsules. Those are all left in the outer ring. All you do is suck em up and feed. I use a 5ml syringe and a piece of airline.

    Nice dwarf seahorses!!
For best long term success with dwarf seahorses, it's recommended to feed them gut loaded bbs that are at least 48 hours old. When the nauplii are first hatched they cannot eat as they have no mouth or anus but once they reach the second instar stage, usually by the latest, 24 hrs after hatching, they can be gut loaded in two 12 hours stages with new enrichment and new water for the second 12 hour period.
The best enrichment can be found at SEAHORSE SOURCE
Using hatching dishes or even bbs hatched from cysts that haven't been decapped increase the odds of bacterial infestations and hydroid infestations.
