    I was on Craiglist and this guy in my town is selling a 800 gallon tank. I just cant belive that you can get a tank that big. Here is the ad below


    800 gal. salt water reef fish tank & all it's contents (Pt. Pleasant, NJ)

    800 Gal. Salt Water Reef Fish Tank original cost of $50,000.00 worth. Asking $15,000.00 for the tank and all it's contents, including: Live corals, reefs,etc. fishes (Angel fish, clown, etc.)

    Way to much money, no fish tank is worth 15 grand unless he is going to bring it to you and set it up as well.

    I am willing to bet 50% of what he has will die on transport

    If you're setting up a tank that big, why not just go with everything new?
    Maybe it's a big display tank in a restaurant that's closing or something?

    There is a guy in my area who has a 1000 gallon reef cube all set up and running. I have seen it and it is beautiful. He is asking 7500.00 so I say that price is to high.

    yeah Ive seen some really nice 600+ gallon tanks for the 5-10k range used, though I dont doubt he has that much in it, it's really easy to spend 50k on equipment

    There is a restaurant here at home trying to give away a 1000 gal cube that is full of live rock if anyone is interested. Wish I had some room for it. lol
