8x54 overkill on my 55g tank?

4x54 of t5ho will easily grow any SPS, including acros.

I had 3x39 of t5ho on my 35g which was coincidentally the same width and height as a 55g , just 1 foot shorter, and I actually bleached out a few SPS, including acros under that light.

I did think of this though, If he got the 8x54, and had the extra bulbs hang over the back of the tank, then he could use that extra hangover light (LOL) to light his fuge. Iguess that would not be ideal unless he had a divider to keep the bulbs in back from lighting the DT, and have the bulbs that are over the back light on a reverse lighting schedule. Eh, maybe not sucha good idea. Too much spill over light.
