8x54w what bulbs should I get?

Hello all I just got a 8x54 48inch fixture for my 75 g

Was looking for same bulb combs with no luck found a lot of stuff on 6bulb not much on x8

5 ATI Blue Plus, 1 ATI Purple Plus or Fiji Purple, 2 ATI Aquablue Special.

Order front to back
Blue Plus, blue plus, Aquablue, blue plus, purple, blue plus, aquablue, blue plus. If you want it a little bluer buy one or two actinic and put them in place of the blue plus. Put the actinics in the front and back positions.

 

Any pictures and that would be uber blue now?

It won't be as blue as you think the aquablue are white bulbs.

Here are some shots of my tank bulbs are actinic, actinic, blue plus, aquablue, fiji, blue plus. It is also bluer than it looks in person probably 2 or 3 shades deeper.

Looks good I think I'm gonna go with them is is p/a and reef geeks only people selling ATI? I would like to find some local so I don't have to pay shipping

There are several online who sell them. You might have to call around to your LFS stores to see if they carry or will order.

 

thanks alot , I ordered as you suggested . its like christmas around here had the light and vortech come today and got a swc 160 cone last saturday
