I'd like to get new lights for my tank but am not sure what would be the correct size for my tank. Please help and THANK YOU :)

1: Cost how much should good lighting cost without being "crazy"

2: YES I do want corals ect.

3: Right now I have live rock under normal fish tank lights is that OK ?

What kinds of corals are you looking to keep? I would invest in more live rock (those skeletons dont count) and maybe another powerhead before you start thinking about corals.

Yes, your live rock will be fine under normal lights, the bacteria living in it which form your biological filter doesn't need light. If you want to add rock, using dry base rock is much cheaper, and you won't get any unwanted hitch hikers. It will become live in a little time.

Anywhere from 5-8 lbs per gallon will be a good start. As for your lighting I would go with a 250 watt MH fixture or an 8 fixture t5 setup.

What? you serious? Thats and obscene amount of rock!!

Weight is tough to go by....

Bali rock is really poruous typically and light, whereas Fiji is typically very dense... So how do you say buy 90# when a Bali rock could be cantaloup sized and weigh 4# but a comparble sized Fiji could weigh 12#....
