90 Gallon Build - Here We Go!

I dont think i posted it on my thread, heres a shot of them off the tank... otherwise they are normally on for pictures... really dont diffuse the light and they sit perfectly on the ledges of the tank frame i have. .

 

Ya, most overflow setups are seperate or can be added. I originally started with a Megaflow W/D on my system, and a All Glass tank. They have a overflow kit that comes with it all. But then I tossed that and built my own sump/fuge and plumbed up a custom overflow and stuff. I have never used a overflow box, but assume it is all the same with plumbing kits. PVC just flows better. Reeally up to you. I guess my point is that the plumbing is a sperate issue to a sump. So get your semp and hok it up with what ever overflow set up you have.

After they are all covered in algae and have a layer of fish poop in the bottom, that exspensive sump is still just holding water.

 

Okay, thanks! I guess I'll build it then. I'm making my "to buy" list right now.

 

What is a semp and how do you hok it up? ;D If there are new reefing toys available I want one! haha

Lol I think he was just exasperated with my inability to grasp the idea of a sump.
