    it just makes it easy to be consolidated into one tank as opposed to having two like my current setup runs.. just trying to help you prevent the tough mistakes from the beginning..

    Okay, just made some purchases...

    I bought an Octopus Extreme 160 protein skimmer, a reactor for the sump, carbon and GFO for the reactor, and a pump for the reactor. I also got two Koralia 4 power heads and an overflow box.

    $550 spent, just like that! :eek:

    Hah! Yes, that's a necessity too. Kacy, go ahead and return those K4's, and get an MP40. Also, while you're ordering that, go ahead an order an Apex Aquacontroller - you will love it. Worth every dime, it's like insurance for your tank and makes life so much easier.

    The controller is 100% worth it, and you'll even be able to control the MP40 with it very soon ;D;D

    Patrick - I'm so sorry I forgot all about calling you back the other night!! I was out running around with a few of the guys from the reef club, and forgot to call back to help with the rest of the setup. (I'm bad about returning calls, please don't take it personal :p) We can get that signature set up this week if you want.
