yeah since your tank doesnt look like a reef ready you'll have to either drill it or put in a siphon box, those will drain to the sump then have a single return pump pushing back up to the DT, make sure to get a pump rated for more flow than you think you need then just put a ball valve on it so you can dial it back to the proper return rate

I bought a siphon overflow box yesterday, so hopefully that will all go well. And I'll just buy a pretty powerful return pump. Seems easy enough! ;) What's a good brand? I don't want the thing to die two months after I buy it.

    thanks!

I use mag and sedra pumps if you want submersible, if you want an out of the sump dry pump pan-world is a good brand

my 90g I run a mag 1800gph which is way overkill but I built a manifold off of it to run my ca and po4 reactors also

I got my sand for the same price at petco, didnt have to pay the shipping then... Mine might be a finer grade sand however... not 100% sure.

Yeah, I got free shipping and no tax! And at my LFS the sand is 19.99 for only 20 pounds, so I got a good deal. Plus...no tax!! ;D

I found a used 30 gallon tank for my sump on CL for $65 and the guy is going to deliver it to me. So that's good because it is a little bit far away, but not too bad. I thought 65 was a good price, because the cheapest new 30 gallon glass tank I could find was $90 and then I'd have to pay tax.

I'll be getting the tank pretty soon!

I saw you needed a pump.. I would look into a Mag 9.5 Great pump, good flow and they run like champs.. Mine has been running non-stop since 4-20-09 without even a hiccup..
