Right after I put the live sand and rock in the ammonia went up to .25ppm and stayed there for about 4-5 days. Then went back to 0 the night before I added the clowns. Never spiked again.

Eh, Im struggling with my 46g right now. With the params... Overloaded it to fast. lol. I dont want Kacy to struggle with hers! Not feeling well and having to worry about your tank is a PITA. BUT, a 90g is easier to manage water quality. I loaded my 120 faster then she has lol. But I stopped at one point to struggle with the tank, and thats when I joined 3reef. Granted my tank had 4 fish more then 3 that shes wanting to have ATM.

IMO, You could possibly add another fish. Just keep an Eye on your params. Shouldnt be to horrible.

But Kacy, I will not push you. Know what you want before you get it. Both fish are WYSIWYG right now. And both are Ideal prices. Another thing is, LA normally has sales on the Velvet. Granted you dont get to see it but, normally they are around 39-49$... Just to say. But I know your itchin to get some DD. lol....

Im all in for a fish, But get what you want.
