No, you will most likely supply your own pipe on the bottom. The one inside is the standpipe to keep the water level higher than the bottom of the overflow tube so it won't break siphon in case of power outage.

Not too much to update because I've been under the weather, but I did place my order with John at Reefcleaners last night for 80 pounds of Florida reef rock. I can't wait to get my base rock and lay out my tank design! I think that's one of the best parts of setting up a new tank.

Once I'm feeling better I plan on getting my 30 gallon tank and plumbing for the sump.

Haha I'm so frustrated because I want to get on this project! Today was the first in four days that I actually got out of bed and never got back in. So I think that's a good sign. And then I can get to work on my sump!! It's driving me crazy having the tank be empty for so long. lol

I'm on antibiotics for two weeks and then another drug for 8 weeks. But at the end of the antibiotics I'm hoping I will feel well enough to GO SHOPPING!!!! ;D

Haha I normally do (and that is why I have an addiction problem and packages arrive daily that I don't remember ordering - oh my, that's scary) but I need to go pick up the 30 gallon tank. And the piping for the sump. Other than that I'm practically done besides some heaters.

Thats good! Means its all coming together. I got one of the new stealth marineland heaters... Im tempted to throw it on the 120g, but Im waiting for one of the other heaters to die. Makes more sense. to not have two half life heaters lol.

Have you even thought on your stocking yet?
