I was just curious, how does your fiance feel about your "reefing" and spending time on 3reef?

My gf is indifferent, but supports it as something that makes me happy and since I cant sell my 30gal she wants it in her place.. she wants a puffer and a humu humu though..

    thanks

You better stock up on food... since the wrasse is quite hungry too, right?
My new addition (my lfs guy gave me a replacement Chromi for the one that died)...
He's a bit bigger but has beautiful green coloring...
Have a good night, my day is just starting..

He's pretty indifferent, but enjoys the fish a lot. Thinks it's all crazy expensive though!

Get her a puffer!!! I have no idea what a humu humu is...I will Google it right now!

Okay, I see. Is that a triggerfish?

    Could the two live together?

The other two are already used to the tank and are leaving him alone... I hope they don't turn aggressive when adding my next fish (b&w Clowns and the wrasse)....

heh i googled it and got:

The name humu-humu-nuku-nuku-apua'a supposedly means "fish that sounds like a pig" in Hawaiian

Looks like a picasso trigger fish

yeah, If Im going to set her up a tank it will be fish only.. I love the humu humu 1. because it is a beautiful fish. 2. my hawaiian cousins made me learn everything about hawaii the last time I was there, and I believe the spelling is humuhumunukunukuapuaa.. awesome name if you ask me..

Agreed on the indiference, but she really appreciates things after they are in the tank..

after pestering her for a few days, Im sure im getting a tang from her.. she says its less than 3 inches, but grows larger, has the colors blue, yellow, white, and black, and loves to eat seaweed.. If it is what I think it is, Im a little scared, but appreciative at the same time since she custom ordered it, paid for it, and its a surprise..
