    Okay, I'm about to release them. Fingers crossed they do okay, and fingers crossed Rex can control himself! I'll update after a bit and hopefully get some pics!

    Okay, well that was traumatic. The girl went in easily. But the male was thrashing and freaking out in the net. I put the net in the water and he was still thrashing around and then got his mouth or something stuck on the net and I couldn't get him off. Uggggh it took like 5 minutes to free him and it was incredibly stressful.

    I hope he's going to be okay. they are both hiding right now.

    I hope so. He looks super stressed. What the heck got caught on the net? It was so weird. And scary. I was freaking out cuz I couldn't get him off!!

    Uh oh - Rex found them!! he hasn't gone up to them yet (they are lying on the sand) but he's flashing from afar! haha

    They'll be fine... I've had a fish live through far more stress...got caught in HOB filter intake tube for who knows how long.
