Thanks! I'm enjoying my selection of fish. I just need everyone to get healthy now!

He is really cute and FULL of personality. He is a bit of a butthead, so if you get one, try to add it last or at the same time as your other new fish. He's a Brazilian Fireball Pygmy. They are really rare, but there is the African Flameback Pygmy that looks exactly like mine, just has a yellow tail, and those are easier to find.

The blue and yellow are awesome colors - he shows up so well!

Thanks. Now I'm just battling this ich the anthias brought into the tank. They brought me lots of presents! ;D

My pictures don't look good either. But I don't remember you having bad pictures? I think I need a better camera. My Canon Powershot just isn't cutting it. Or maybe I should read the manual to use better settings and such. That might help! ;)

yeah i need to read the manual. i just have a hard time getting the thing to focus on anything inside the tank. i think i just need to turn off all the "auto" stuff and play with the setting one by one till i get what i want.

you figure with the point and shoot cameras: taking pictures of stuff behind 3/8ths thick glass, and lit with crazy amounts of light goes against all the stuff its "programmed" to do

Yeah, mine has an "aquarium" setting that works well on my 37 gallon with it's power compacts, but not at all with the T5 lighting on my 90 gallon. So I need to turn all the stuff off and mess with the settings. But just thinking about that annoys me. ;)

Ugh, Im sorry to hear.. I just had a big fight with my tank last week and we are now on better terms.. Mine decided to have a serious outbreak of clear slimey stuff everywhere, water got cloudy and gray looking, corals retreated, and pH fell off into 7.5 land with no rebound.. changing 10 gallons of water a day for a week helped and now its as if nothing happened.. So you'll see me around 3reef more now that my tank and I are on good terms again..

That sounds nasty!! What was the clear, slimy stuff? That sounds nasty and strange. Glad you beat it!
