    Sounds like things are going well.
    I get those hard spiral things too, I leave them on the one side I can't see into and try to clean around them on the others. I'm with you on the asternia stars I like them.

    What happened to your clowns spawning... just asking 'cause I think mine are spawning too.

    Well I had my first loss after 9 months of reef keeping, so I guess that's not too bad. My sharknose goby didn't make it :( He was missing for a couple days, and while doing my WC last night I found his half eaten body. It was gross, and sad.

    No, I was too grossed out. And I didn't know it was him at first, because he was half eaten, so I sucked him up into the siphon, and then he got stuck in there on the snail guard...it was just too gross. Long story short, no I didn't. I'm sure they would have liked him.


    Thanks. I didn't have him long, but I really liked him!! He was so active and eating well, so I don't know what happened.

    im really sorry for your loss, its so hard loosing your first fish :( sounds like your CUC got to him if you found him like that
