Depending on the stand you have... but if you have the aqueon pine stand theres a center support between the doors. You will not be able to add a sump. You have to drop the sump from the top in and then put your tank on the stand with the setup Im thinking you have. Trust me Ive been there before. Thats why on my custom stand I have no center support and its come in handy since I just removed my sump last night.....

Just some food for thought :)

I won't appreciate it while trying to stick my hand in it, but I know it will look really nice. I'm so excited!

On the sump topic: I completed my sump for my 75G last weekend. It's really not as difficult as you think. I did this sump, it's from an awesome site and his acrylic skills are pretty insane as well. He gives great explanations of why a sump is important and just about anything you could ask for. The only things I'd do differently on bama's plans though is have the "T" joint like an upside down "T" instead of on it's side. I did that and it reduced noise. I'd also put the ball valve on the refugium, that way flow can be restricted there and on free flow to the skimmer. You'll want lower flow on the refugium so the water has more time to naturally filter. You can also use this side as a pod farm. You'll be happy you drill and do the sump later on. I'm trying to design a sump add-on to a running tank and it's a PITA.

On, check out the Exquisite Wrasse on LA. It's awesome!

Hey, Kc - just wanted to add my .02 on the skimmer - when we first started our 75, we had a coralife skimmer. It was certainly better than nothing and at the time, the price was right...free!! However, we found it to be very tempermental. It was good, but not great. After we upgraded to the 150, we went with the Octo Reef and I have to say that I am super impressed!!!!! Much easier than the coralife and pulls out really nasty skimmate. So if you can swing it, go with the Octo. IMHO, it is the best skimmer in that price range.

Also, I will +1 to having a sump from the beginning!

Okay, I picked up the tank last night! Now it's officially starting. Time to start doing some online shopping! :)

Yes, the tank is very dusty. I haven't cleaned it yet. And where it's currently positioned is probably not where I'm going to keep it...I haven't decided where to put it yet - it's huge!!
