I was going to do some sort of DIY led build for the tank but I am instead thinking that I'm going to buy two Blueline 120w VHO lights. Do you think those lights will be able to grow just about anything in that tank? I dont have plans to do clams, but I also don't want to be limited if I decide to down the road.

I do have a mini maxi carpet nem to put in and I'd like to add a bta at some point down the road. Do you guys think that is enough light?

$339x2=$678. You can DIY with Cree LEDs with that amount and wider spectrum. Just saying :)

Koralia evo's are in. I have them set at a 10 second alternate interval. Seems like a good flow so far. The nitrates are over 180 right now though so I'm waiting to put fish in.

Here are some pics of the pump placement.

Well, I'm only in MD and I have a bunch of live rock just like that left over. I'm selling it cheap if you are interested. PM me if you are.

Ok. A couple new growths. I found some Kenya tree sprouting out of the rock.

I also put in two red mushrooms.

The third shot is of a random piece I got from another tank. No idea if it will even open.

Last one looks like something is still alive in the skeleton of the previous coral. Any ideas? Look close. They are nearly see through tentacles.
