    Right.

The GFCI usually has a sticker covering these terminals that says "THE LOAD TERMINALS UNDER THIS STICKER ARE FOR FEEDING ADDITIONAL RECEPTACLES."

Those are the load side connections to which Bogie refers.

I'm hoping once the sump/'fuge is in place, the power center will be less of an eyesore. If it's still obtrusive, I'll probably do just that, Bogie. Thanks for the input! :)

The 55G is out of the way and the 90G is in place. I've poured the new dry sand in, and I've put the plumbing in place and tightened the unions.

All that's left is to put the live sand from the 55G on top and fill. After adding the corals and fish, I'll place the halide fixture on top and pray from there, um, go from there.

    Here's pics of the progress:

Unfortunately, the male spit the eggs while in the 30G rubbermaid holding tank for 48 hours. Since they bred once, I'm guessing they'll do it again.

I figured it was only a matter of time before everyone got on me about the passing of a few days and no posting. ;D

I remember reading Tangster's sage advice about not rinsing off sand before addition. I followed it, and the tank was so cloudy for 48 hours or so, that I wanted to wait before I posted pics again.

Here are a couple of pics from about 24 hours after I added some livestock back in, fired up the halides, and tried the new moonlights.

In a little while I'll post some more pics. You all know how Luna is. :)

As promised, here are more pics. The green star polyps have just begun to open again. The yellow polyps are opening less, but they're alive. The mushrooms don't look to hot, the zoa's are fine.

My intent this time 'round is to expose as much sand on the bottom as possible. I don't use any filter floss anywhere, so the vast sandy bottom should make detritus patrol that much easier.

I'm going to go with two mounds of LR, and place all corals on them. They're situated directly below each halide, so I'll have some control over what gets how much light. I'd like to put a monti cap on top of one of the mounds soon.

I'm happy with how the sump/refugium is working. It's very quiet, and the chaeto lived thru the changeover ordeal, and is back in the 'fuge. I just put the fuge light back on timer opposite the daytime lighting. The phos reactor is doing its thing. The protein skimmer is doing well, still sucking out the muck/mud from the unrinsed sand. I guess Tangster's advice not to rinse, is to keep the goodies in the sand, like calcium and trace elements; so I'm glad I didn't rinse the sand.

    Here's the pics, all. . .
