I've been meaning to do this for a while. Originally I started out looking at a 46gallon bowfront, then bought a 55 gallon off craig's list (with no leaks or issues), now it has evolved into a 90 gallon tank with a 20 long as a sump. Here are the pics of the progression, as of right now I am three days into introducing 25lbs of live rock and I'm awaiting the nitrogen cycle. let me know what yall think.

last set for now....this is my second attempt at a saltwater aquarium. First was a 36 bowfront but I had not read about the nitrogen cycle so it was a failure but a good lesson learned.

It's been about two weeks since I introduced the LR and ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate have all been reading 0ppm the whole time so I introduced a pair of false percula clowns, one black one orange, about four days ago. The chemicals are all around 0ppm still so today I introduced a yellow tang and a randal's shrimp goby. tell me what ya'll think. I'm kind of curious as to why the ammonia has yet to go up at all. oh and I also added ATI sunpower 6 bulb light fixture too. ;D

I would wait 3 or 4 weeks now before adding anything else
and test those parameters each week at least once in the mean time

watch the fish for signs of cloudy eyes, which is often a 1st visible indicator of ammonia poisoning , also look out for red streaks on the body or gills

I say this because on 1st post dated 10th - you where 3 days after introduction of live rock
today is 17th - thus its only 10 days since the live rock was introduced and you already have 4 fish in there

which is a bit quick IMO and the zero readings on the test kits may not be telling you the cycle is over
they may be telling you that it has not yet started
