I would agree with Reeron here
you should consider the potential adult size of the fish when stocking a tank

using the Live Aquaria site - rc mcwaters - I would agree 25 inches of fish approx is OK

now lets look at the potential adult size of the fish on the list
    Kole Tang - 7 inches
    Lawnmower - 4 inches
    fire fish 3 inches x 2 = 6 inches
    coral beauty = 4 inches
    clown fish - 2 x 3 inches = 6 inches
    Powder blue = 9 inches
    3 Chromis - 3 x 3 = 9 inches
    Diamond goby = 6 inches

a potential total of 51 inches of fish

please remember its the adult size of the fish thats implied with stocking policies and not the size they are when you buy them

    K+ Reeron
I think you made an experienced call on that one
I had to do the math to check it

    It is yes Trapstar

general principle would be 1 inch of adult fish size per 4 gallons of salt water
oxygen becomes the most critical consideration in tanks stocked to much above that

I understand some peoples confusion as they may believe that 25 inches of fish allowed , could mean you could put 25 fish in the tank that are 1 inch long when they are purchased (sailfin and hippo tangs for example can be found in the shops at 1 inch size, hence we see to many in tanks under 30 gallons these days)

but the reality is , its better to budget tank space for the potential size of the fish

tanks stocked to their capacity are an accident waiting to happen IMHO
