    So I really want to go with Jager heaters for my new 90 gallon set up, but I can only fit a max 14" heater in my sump which means two 150 watt heaters because the 200 watt heaters are 16" and wont fit. Will 300 watt be enough for a 90 gallon DT with a 30 gallon sump?

    Or do I go with something like the Hydor Theo or Fluval, thoses are small?

    I also wanted to get a Jager for my 20g sump but couldn't fit it. I ended up going with the Fluval E 300w. It's been working nicely since I set the tank up in January. I am eventually going to get a controller to monitor its performance but so far it's been good & I do like the lit lcd screen that shows the temp readout.

    Just don't get a Stealth heater :)

    I would go with a finnex titanium heating element with controller or if you already have a controller such as a reefkeeper or apex you can use that. I run two 500W ones and love them.

    * Wattage: 500W
    * Amperage @ 115V: 4.5
    * Recommended Tank Size (gallons): 70~130
    * Power cord to wall: 73.5"
    *Heating tube: 11.5" inch

    Sounds just like my setup,I'm in Buffalo I keep my house at 65 in the winter , maybe I will stick with two 150W, I really want to go with the Jager.

    I use two 150W jagers for my 75 gal with 20 gal sump and it works fine. I'm in Salt Lake City and it holds it temps in the winter time when the house is 65.

    I have a 90G, with a 10 gallon wet/dry at the moment.

    I have a 400w Theo Hydor in DT. It keeps up perfectly (but I live in FL, where it's like 100 million degrees anyway.)
